(above) - This quiet 16' x 15' southeast room has two large windows and American Golden Oak furniture, purchased
in 1903 for the newly wed couple (Mimi's grandparents) whose photograph
hangs above the mantel. The suite includes a queen bed
with high carved headboard, mirrored dresser, and washstand. The single bed
of wrought iron is decoratively painted by a Baton Rouge artist. The
private adjoining bath has a tub/shower. Large closets provide
extra pillows, blankets, and space for clothing and luggage.
